To help promote the DVD and Blue Ray release of The Vampire Diaries season three, Warner Brothers Australia wanted a unique social media app that would connect with fans and encourage them to spread the news of the upcoming release.

Working with a major story line from the TV series, the Doppleganger campaign was created. Users were encouraged to upload their picture or a friends picture and associated look a-likes and tag them in the Doppleganger gallery.
